Normally I start my blog posts going straight in and talking about what I like about my outfit etc but today I want to share something with you first – my leaf necklace. At first glance it may look like I have just matched a cute necklace to go with a cute and delicate outfit but there is much more to this particular necklace than meets the eye. On closer look, you will discover that it has functional use, as well as being pretty. A BellaBeat leaf that tracks your daily activity including your sleep ,mindfulness and menstrual cycle. If like me you don’t want to have a plastic watch spoiling your outfit to track your activity throughout the day this could be a good alternative. I have worn it here as a necklace as it fitted nicely with the V shaped top but it could just as easily be worn on the wrist as a bracelet.

Moving onto the outfit, I don’t think you guys have ever seen me in a skirt this length before and honestly there’s not that many occasions in London where I would find myself able to wear it. Despite that, I completely fell in love with this top/skirt combo on Missguided and thought I had to get it. When wearing this outfit it genuinely made me feel like a princess and I was kind of sad when I had to take it off and loose the princess feel! The lace and detailing are really beautiful but also by only showing the smallest part of the stomach made me feel slim too. With the skirt being long, I have paired the outfit with some white heels to accentuate the legs. A look I feel that would work well at the more sophisticated Bar- B- Que ‘s and summer parties or just when you want to feel extra pretty and feminine.
